[attr="class","vpostbg"]“…Right. Just wood, then?”
Swallowing back his words, Clockwork takes a glance down at his hands, flexing ball-jointed fingers out in front of him with a disgruntled expression. Delicate and frail, he hadn’t imagined using them to chop wood when he’d first picked an avatar; but in pursuit of a reward, he’s resigned himself to putting in some elbow grease. With a strained face, he leans forward to grasp at the edge of one of the axes in front of him, hefting it over his shoulder with a burdened breath.
Clearly, he’s been skipping a couple arm days.
Pushing his shoulder upwards, he takes a couple seconds in an attempt to steady himself, balancing on both feet, before his gaze shifts towards a newfound companion— someone else, who seems to know a little more about what he's doing here than Clockwork does. Really, it doesn't take all too much.
With a raised eyebrow, he gestures towards the sprawling woodlands ahead, before nodding his head back towards the dwarf, as if suggesting they start making their way over. "We only have to bring a couple of logs, so it shouldn't be..." he pauses, pursing his lips, before shaking his head in an exhausted acceptance. "It shouldn't be that hard, really. I've done worse."
[attr="class","liliya-header-content"] HARGRAVE[break]Level 12 GREAT SHIELDER
[attr="class","liliya-post-1"]
[attr="class","liliya-post-2"] Despite having managed to make it to level twelve within the past seven months of the game being active, Hargrave had yet to actually venture out and put any serious efforts into crafting an item for himself. He had several ways to make the process easier, and cheaper to a degree, but it had still felt far too costly for the dwarf. With that being the case, he had yet to acquire a single MagiCore either. It was quite embarrassing, if he were being honest with himself, considering the fact that the MagiCore's were the most integral part of his trade! [break][break] Hoping to try and acquire some MagiCore's for the future, and to take away some of the shame, Hargrave would find himself taking on a quest that he had skipped over oh so long ago. A quest that was known for rewarding ten MagiCore upon completion. While this was something that he could have waited to act on, until he had acquired skills to grant him even more MagiCore for his efforts, his patience had been running thin and eventually he had found himself where he currently was. [break][break] At this very moment, Hargrave had found himself outside of the walls of Reverie and alongside a man that he had yet to have met before. Likely a low level player when considering the quest and the fact that the man hadn't held a single uncommon or above grade item. "Yeah; this should be easy. We can either take turns on chopping down the trees, focus on a single tree together, or go at them separately. Whatever you think to be the best case here." He would proceed to offer the man a curt nod before clanking his twin tower shields lightly together. "And if anything decides to get in our way, I'll be sure to draw their aggro while you attack from the rear." Or so he had hoped, considering that the man before him had had a rapier. [break][break] While he hadn't wanted to pry into any personal information on his companion, the two of them had found themselves partied up upon accepting the quest together. This had allowed for the pair to see one another's levels and names but little else from what Hargrave could tell. Even with the system having given him the information, Hargrave had wanted to make the proper introductions as the pair had made their way down towards the tree line. "The name's Hargrave by the way. Level twelve great shielder. Magicrafting Extraordinaire~"
